The Dark Rock Slim from be quiet! offers an exceptionally high cooling performance of 180 W TDP and almost silent operation. This makes it ideal for all high-end configurations with limited space.
Its compact design offers excellent heat dissipation in small spaces, making the Dark Rock Slim the ideal solution for high-end systems with limited space. Because of its compact design, no memory slots are blocked.
Virtually inaudible, it produces only 23.6 dB(A) even at full power. The Silent Wings 3 PWM 120 mm fan has 7 airflow-optimised blades, a six-pole motor for less vibration and durable fluid-dynamic bearing technology. Decoupled fan mounting with anti-vibration elements on the heatsink.
The Dark Rock Slim offers powerful cooling performance of 180W TDP and guarantees low temperatures even during peak processor performance. It is also possible to add another 120mm fan for even better cooling.
The main features of the Dark Rock Slim are its high-end cooling. The Dark Rock Slim is equipped with 4 advanced 6mm copper heatpipes for maximum thermal conductance. The airflow-optimised cooling fins, corrugated with small dots on their surfaces, increase airflow. The special black coating with ceramic particles allows ideal heat transfer.

In my case I bought the be quiet ventirad Dark rock slim
For my ryzen 7 5800x processor and it does enough to cool it.
Good value for money for what I use it for.
Bought to cool a Ryzen 7 5800X3D mounted on an Asus ROG X570 I Gaming in a NZXT H210, everything went perfectly.
Mounted in Push-Pull mode with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaute, my processor runs between 40 and 50°C on the desktop, rises to 60/65°C when gaming and reaches 80°C after 1 hour of OCCT and manages to maintain 4.5 GHz at all times. This is more than adequate for my purposes.
The ventirad noise is fairly low and is quickly covered by the graphics card ventilation, which suits me fine.

Very good fan, cools very well. What's more, it's good value for money, but having said that, the final assembly was a bit laborious: the rods for fixing the fan were a bit difficult to fit. It's easier on a Noctua.
This little Dark Rock Slim, in push-pull configuration at home with a second Silent Wings 3, straddles a Ryzen 7 5800X in a well-ventilated case (Factal Meshify Compact).
Well, against all expectations given the tiny size of the machine, it manages to contain the 5800X perfectly, despite its reputation for temperatures worthy of the Sahara in its basic configuration.
By applying a few basic improvements (undervolt in particular), this little tower is more than at ease, all in remarkable silence thanks to the excellent Silent Wings 3.
It fully deserves its Dark Rock name, and has nothing to be ashamed of when compared with its big non-slim brothers!
Very good fan, cools well on an Intel I5 13600-KF, fast delivery and no problems with the product.
