I wanted an external box for M2 and not M2 nvme.
which means that it doesn't work when I plug it in.
I bought the product in February 2022 and now :
- The USB plug never aligns correctly
- After 6 months, the screws fixing the case no longer work.
As a result, you end up with an NVME drive case that doesn't hold.
For information, mine stopped working on 21/11/2023.
I am very happy with the box. I have been able to recover data stored on my old computer which no longer works.
Sometimes the drive takes a few seconds to start up, like some USB sticks.
So far it works fine.
Bought a 480gb ssd m2, the first impression was good with a rather classy metal case with correct packaging (tools and extra screws including double ssd m2 screws) but... no instructions explaining how to open the case. 4 screws later and a long time to force the case open, I could finally extract the plate where to fix my ssd m2. A very rough and apparently fragile plate, do not force on the port where you will plug the USB cable... Once installed, the unscrewed screws have difficulty to find their place and the mini screwdriver provided shows its limits quickly.
Well, for a first price, we'll say that it's going to do the trick, but we'll have to see in the long run.
Very fast deliveryFixing an ssd is very difficult because the fixing holes do not coincide: you have to do it yourself!
I use it to clone and recover data. It is perfectly recognized, and its operation is irreproachable. I've been using it for cloning and data recovery, and it works perfectly.

Used to clone an M.2 NVME SSD, no problems.
The case seems to be solid, but the screws and threads of the case seem to be a bit fragile, but there are two sets of screws delivered. To see in time...
It's a pity that the same type of case doesn't exist on LDLC for M.2 PCIE drives
I have to say that I have been using this product for a while now, but it is a very good product and I have to say that I have been using this product for a while now.
So disappointed with this product, but not with the shop.
Simply because the product no longer works. There's not much more to say about something that breaks down. I'll have to check with SAV.
Suitable for storage but not for cloning a disk under linux. It sends me read-write errors all the time.
Mounting is easy and aesthetically the result is not too bad.
Recognized under Ubuntu 18.04 and Win10.
Please note that the connector in the case is type B,
and therefore not compatible with drives with an M type connector.
(Samsung 950 Pro M.2 for example)

Product was as expected.
Used to replace my 128GB internal SSD with a 500GB 850 EVO.
Everything worked without a hitch when I cloned it, and I now use it as a large USB drive.
The case itself is fine, except for an alignment problem with the screw holes between the case and the access plate at the connector.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the price.
The USB 3.1 case with 10 Gs/S speed is a plus.
The aluminium case allows for ventilation and cooling of the M2, which is very hot by nature.
Not compatible with SSDs in laptops.
Really strange, I must have missed something.

Simple, efficient and discreet housing.
The assembly is a real child's play with the supplied screws and bolts. Once the bracket is attached, it simply slides into the case and is then secured.
No significant heating observed in the event of pushed transfers: a good product that I recommend
Very simple installation in the tiny, well-made case.
To mount the SSD, you pull out the internal bracket of the M.2 SSD by one of the two ends. The SSD is inserted into the slot and locked in place with a set of screws and a removable bracket (in duplicate!). It's easy to do and all this is done in one minute.
Then you slide the whole thing into the case and close it with two other screws. Small screwdriver provided. Just plug it in. Instant USB3 display.
Perfect for recovering data from my crashed PC.
The screw holes are a bit off (half a millimetre), enough that an 80mm SSD won't fit.
Need to take a drill to rectify.
Also, the m.2 connector is oddly placed, forcing you to twist the SSD a bit. I don't know how it would work out in the long run.
Other than that it's a pretty decent product for the price, and comes with a (short) cable and all the necessary hardware.
very nice and slim steel case in usb3.1 very easy to carry and very shock resistant.
It can be carried in the pocket without any problem. The case is ventilated to cool down the hard drive when you copy a lot of files on it.
