The 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio panel with a 90% screen-to-panel ratio is ideal for fast-paced arena shooters and other frenetic games.
Powerful cooling
To accommodate such powerful components, both the chassis and motherboard of the Strix SCAR 16 have been designed to accommodate a full-width heatsink with copper fins close to the exhaust vents for more efficient cooling. This unique heatsink is composed of three different sections, surrounding the motherboard with dense fins. This design maximises the path available for hot air to escape the machine and greatly increases overall cooling. The SCAR 16 pushes the performance envelope further by exploiting a 3-fan system that helps keep the GPU and VRAM cool. Combined with seven heatpipes and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on the CPU and GPU, the SCAR 16's cooling system is extremely efficient.
Key-by-Key Backlit Keyboard
The difference between winning and losing can be decided by a single keystroke, which is why the SCAR 16 features a professional esport-grade keyboard designed to ensure victory. Built to last, the Strix SCAR's keyboard switches are rated to withstand over 20 million presses, while the n-key rollover feature ensures that your system will never miss a command, even if you press multiple keys at once. The SCAR has a large keyboard with multimedia controls and dedicated hotkeys that are set to volume and Armoury Crate controls by default, but can be customised for different functions or macros. With per-key RGB and Aura Sync customisation, the SCAR will always look the way you feel.
Superior audio quality
Dolby Atmos-powered speakers include two tweeters and two downward-firing woofers to create an authentic soundstage when you play. High-resolution audio lets you hear your music in the same quality as when you recorded it. Two Way AI Noise Cancelation processes incoming and outgoing audio signals to filter out all background noise to ensure your calls, chats and streams are transmitted without disturbance.
