Reliability to be tested over time.
Plus points :
- Impeccable ergonomics for small hands (size 7/8).
- Hand position and wrist rest.
- Precision
- Silence
Minus
- I found it hard to 'lift' the mouse off the mat without pressing a button.
- The inertial wheel isn't as smooth as on other models, it's 'pushy'.
Ergonomics and silence are good.
The only problem is the price at LDLC. More expensive than the competition, and I'm talking about physical shops!
Pros :
Correct sound
Spits out 20w well
Colours the desk well
Radio, Bluetooth and everything else works perfectly
Cons:
The buttons are not very intuitive and take some getting used to
Power supply on the same side as the buttons, which is not very practical
It works well and is easy to set up using Logitech's Options+. I only gave it 4 out of 5 for 2 reasons:
- in the hand, fingers on the buttons are fine, but in use, with the index finger wanting to move closer to the centre for the thumbwheel, the hand is placed a little lower overall and the thumbwheel under the index finger just has room to place the 4 fingers close together while touching the carpet, so I find it a little small
- I didn't see the dongle in the box, nor any mention of it in the installation instructions, and thinking that maybe there wasn't one I re-read the product sheet without finding any mention of it, so I thought I'd have to buy it separately, which I did (an ASUS BT500).... but then I found that there was a dongle supplied with the mouse, it was actually stored in a slot inside the battery compartment (which is actually very handy for not losing it when travelling)... So I bought a separate USB dongle for nothing...
Very ergonomic, easy to hold, practical with the back button, pleasant to use.
And pretty! What more could you ask for?
