Surprising
I ordered this 2.1 kit to replace my old logitech 5.1 kit (the X540s) as I was listening to far more music than I was watching movies.
Being a daily music listener, listening to all styles I can say that the speakers know how to stay very clear whatever the volume, the two satellites of 35W each do largely the coffee and know how to add precise details in the aïgues, even if in my opinion, the mediums are sometimes slightly missing.
The subwoofer as for him, is limit oversized compared to the satellites, it has a membrane of 8" and an amplification of 100W RMS with a peak with 150W what is amply sufficient to make vibrate the pieces of furniture of my kitchen which are on the other side of the wall, one can obviously (and fortunately) lower it to better balance it with the aïgues.
The only fault I found with them, let's say the speakers on their side are turned up, and the volume is adjusted from the computer, I'm not sure how this phenomenon can occur, but if the sound on the computer side is really weak, the fact that they are turned up certainly reduces the sensitivity at the amplifier, and so the sound cuts out, until the moment when the volume is turned up enough for them to notice that there is indeed a signal coming through.
So my advice is, if you're listening at low volume, put the speakers on their side at 40% or less, and they'll cut out less easily. They do this in my opinion because as soon as there is no sound emitted for a few seconds in a row, they cut off to avoid background noise. But as soon as you put some sound back in, they instantly start again.
So overall I am very satisfied, I have not managed to put them in default until now, their sound is very good and for the quality / price I put them a 5/5.
