Honeywell 'sVoyager 1202g-bf single-frame laser scanner features revolutionary battery-free technology. It allows you to enjoy the freedom of Bluetooth wireless technology without the maintenance hassles or long recharge times associated with traditional batteries. Like all other readers in the Voyager range, the 1202g-bf offers top performance for reading linear barcodes, even when they are damaged or of poor quality.
Built-in Bluetooth Class 2 technology gives users complete freedom of movement within a range of up to 10 metres from the base in a standard working environment. With an unobstructed optical range to the base station, wireless coverage is up to 30 metres. For added convenience, a paging system on the base activates audible signals to help locate a lost reader. The 1202g-bf reader contributes to a safer and more productive working environment; theabsence of cables allows for complete freedom of movement and reduces the risk of falls. The wireless and battery-free technology replaces the battery with a supercapacitor that allows for a full charge in less than 20 seconds and enough wireless power to take at least 100 readings. This makes the 1202g-bf the ideal tool for occasional wireless reading; for example, as a complement to bioptic (counter-mounted) readers used in retail environments, where items are sometimes left in the trolley and need to be read manually. The absence of a battery also frees you from the hassle of routine maintenance, while providing a lighter and more environmentally friendly reader.
The Voyager is a plug and play reader that features a multi-interface design with automatic interface detection. The fact that the reader automatically switches to the appropriate interface upon connection shortens the installation process and eliminates the time-consuming process of reading programming barcodes. Based on the proven Voyager platform, the 1202g-bf reader offers exceptional linear barcode reading performance with the convenience of wireless, all without batteries.
