Secure burst reading, intelligent adaptive lighting and instant data processing
Zebra's 800 MHz microprocessor, high-resolution megapixel sensor and PRZM intelligent imaging technology combine to read poorly printed, damaged, wrinkled, faded, truncated and low-contrast barcodes. The curved reading window reduces reflection and allows for better reading of barcodes printed on glossy paper or displayed on a mobile phone screen that may blind the sensor.
When it comes to ease of use, the DS9308 clearly outperforms its competitors. It offers 50% faster read speeds than similar scanners and captures barcodes as fast as they are presented. With the largest field of view in its class, it scans items effortlessly and without the need to precisely position items.
The LEDs dynamically adapt to the environment and automatically dim when an imager is not in use, only to reactivate when a barcode is presented. They are also flush-mounted and virtually invisible, reducing any risk of glare.
Use the information on a driving licence to immediately verify the holder's age, fill out loyalty and credit card applications, control returns and prevent fraud.

It also features virtually universal scanning that quickly and easily captures 1D and 2D barcodes, tiny high-density barcodes, codes printed on a label or displayed on a phone screen, DotCode and DataMatrix codes through cellophane, and even invisible Digimarc codes. Zebra's advanced technology built into this DS9308 imager captures barcodes in virtually any condition and on any media.
