1st watercooling on a new PC. My I7-13700TK is at 40° at rest and flirts happily with 85° under load.
I reapplied the thermal paste twice to be sure of the assembly, varying the application methods.
Not at all convinced. I plan to replace it quickly with a ventirad.
I have nothing to complain about, it works perfectly, cools my processor well and is silent even at full performance. I'm pleasantly surprised, and I think the price is right for its quality.
Discreet: inaudible fan, almost inaudible under full load (in a closed box), and very quiet pump.
Sober: for those who don't want to have a disco. Just the small white lighted strip at the CPU block.
Remote pump: possibly safer in the long run, good idea.
Correct performance: I have a mixed opinion, it will be perfect on CPUs that are easy to cool, in my 5800X3D it just does the job (better than a classic fan, we agree).
On the other hand, Be Quiet is a red card. I had the very bad experience of receiving this AIO without the mounting screws for the radiator and the fans, nor even the Y cable for the fans and the SATA adapter, so in fact unusable as it is.
I had a bit of trouble getting it to fit into a Hyte Revolt 3, but it did fit with a bit of force.
Bad product or bad assembly? My cpu overheats every 5 minutes even without programs running.
Excellent product works great and does the job for my processor which never goes above 40 degrees
So in itself it is very good, the cooling capacity is more than correct, compared to my old AiO (Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 RGB) it is larger, very discreet (white led only on the CPU waterblock) and cools much better
So why the "Yes but!", well it's simple my little chickens: on this AIO, the pump is not on the waterblock (apparently it's to protect it from the heating of the waterblock) but in a small compartment between the radiator and the waterblock, and this pump my friends, IT IS LOUD! Well, I may be exaggerating a bit, but let's just say that I'm used to a powerful but discreet configuration and the noise of the pump is quite audible, after all I'm lucky enough to have a relatively well insulated box in terms of noise, but if it's not your case, the noise may quickly become unpleasant (unless you're deaf, in which case, no worries
In short, this is the only drawback, apart from that an excellent product, the quality LDLC in more
I would have preferred a colour scheme for the light, but I knew what I was buying.
For the assembly, no problem with the watercooling, and as it replaces a big ventirad of the same brand, I did not have to change the fixation around the processor.
However, I had to adapt my case to fit it, I have an NZXT Phantom, and the holes as well as the radiator size did not match (despite the indications to the contrary on the case's manual). And I think the problem comes from NZXT, I have the same problem for a 200m fan on another case of the same range where I had to redo the holes to fix the fan.
