ICY DOCK is pleased to introduce the ToughArmor MB834M2K-B, the first removable rack for two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs. It's rugged and can be mounted without the need for tools. Your two M.2 NVMe SSDs no longer need to be installed on a motherboard or riser card with a tiny screw, but can now be installed and easily accessed from the front of your computer! The ToughArmor MB834M2K-B will ease the pain of users who find it difficult to install M.2 drives, and will allow for easy maintenance and upgrading of your system. The ToughArmor MB834M2K-B supports ultra-fast PCIe x4 transfer speeds of up to 32 GB/s via MiniSAS HD and accepts all standard M.2 drive lengths from 30 mm to 110 mm (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110). In addition, while working with a number of ventilation holes around the enclosure, each drive platter is equipped with a high-efficiency aluminum heatsink to ensure that all M.2 NVMe SSDs remain at their optimal temperature even when used to their full potential. Ultimately, your drives will be well protected in this all-metal rack with a key lock to prevent unauthorized physical access.
Typical M.2 drives are usually installed on a motherboard and secured with a tiny screw. Their physical installation or removal can be very tedious and time consuming. However, with ICY DOCK's ToughArmor MB834M2K-B, your M.2 drives are placed on the front of a computer case and makes installation and removal of M.2 NVMe SSDs easier and more efficient.
The adjustable M.2 tray slides to accommodate all standard M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD lengths , including 2230 (30mm), 2242 (42mm), 2260 (60mm) and 22110 (110mm). The locker fits into the screw hole of the SSD to secure the drive without screws or tools, eliminating the need for small, easily lost screws while protecting your drive from vibration and motion damage.
The ToughArmor MB834M2K-B uses the NVMe U.2 connector to support the full NVMe bandwidth specification of 32 Gbps, more than 5 times faster than the previous SATA standard, making it ideal for data-intensive applications such as enterprise servers, data centres and photography and media professionals.
The robust, all-metal chassis, tray and mounting bracket ensure the ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB834M2K-B has a long service life and helps dissipate heat. An anti-vibration mechanism built into the chassis reduces noise and protects against environmental damage.
The uniquely designed platter has an integrated aluminium heat sink with thermal pads included for maximum passive heat dissipation. This heat is then dispersed through the cleverly placed ventilation holes on all sides, which work with your computer's cooling system to protect your drives from overheating damage, even under load.

The product works very well, I had some problems to connect it to the motherboard (cables and boards).
I have been searching on the internet for cables and boards to connect the whole thing.
