The product is functional. Neither beautiful nor ugly.
It is exactly what I was looking for: 3 3.5 bays and a way to use my two 5.25 slots on the front.
Mounting in a Fractal Design Core 1000 case -> A horror! I had to force it in. I even thought I would have to file the metal of the case. Compatible with two 5.25 slots, but not with the same ease on all cases, so check the sizes.
Either way, once installed it is securely fastened to the housing with 4 screws.
The fan speed can be adjusted (manually), fortunately because at maximum speed it is a real aircraft turbine. On the other hand, the fan seems to heat up a lot ... I'm really afraid for my records.
Finally, a slot is out of order. I tried to change the SATA cable, nothing to do. The bottom slot is cooked.
So I spent 4 hours disassembling my home server almost completely to migrate it from one platform to another, and reinstall it. But I will have to reassemble it partially in order to send back a defective product.
