The ICY DOCK ToughArmor EX MB491V5K-B is a rugged, removable enclosure for U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs, designed specifically for mission-critical military, industrial and embedded computing systems. Constructed with an all-metal reinforced chassis, the MB491V5K-B complies with flammability requirements and offers superior durability in extreme conditions.
Its removable drawer with metal cylinder lock and knurled screw secures the SSD in place, preventing unauthorised access and protecting the drive from shock, vibration and accidental ejection during transit. With support for PCIe 5.0 and transfer speeds of up to 128 Gbps, the MB491V5K-B provides the bandwidth needed for real-time analysis, aerospace data recording, AI model training and other high-performance applications.
