The Scythe Mugen 5 ARGB PLUS offers a high-end design aimed at simplicity of use without sacrificing cooling performance. Supplied for this ARGB Plus Edition with 2 x 120mm PWM ARGB fans, this CPU fan offers you even more efficient and still silent cooling with splendid ARGB effects.
Asymmetric design and simplified mounting system
Ram modules with large passive heatsinks are no problem for the Mugen 5 ARGB Plus. Its heatpipes are angled slightly backwards so that the heatsink is not centred directly above the base, but slightly offset. This asymmetrical design allows unrestricted access to the memory banks.
The updated Hyper Precision II mounting system now offers full compatibility with AMD's new AM4 platform. A pre-assembled mounting bar simplifies the installation process, while spring loaded screws prevent uneven pressure distribution. The Mugen 5 ARGB Plus package also includes an extra-long screwdriver for easy mounting.
PWM fan and dual fan design
The Mugen 5 ARGB Plus is equipped with 2 ARGB PWM fans with an operating range of 300 to 1500 rpm from the new Kaze Flex series to ensure a high level of stability and an average life of 120,000 hours. The self-contained liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum with a special oil film. The rubber bearings have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of vibrations.
