The VG32VQ is the first gaming monitor to offer the combination of 2 technologies that are normally impossible to activate simultaneously: AdaptiveSync (FreeSync/G-Sync) and Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB).
Today, ASUS has managed to combine these two technologies and has equipped this monitor with them in the form of ELMB-Sync. Thanks to this major innovation, it is now possible to benefit from the best of both worlds (i.e. the benefits of FreeSync for better smoothness without tearing coupled with the reduction of ghosting and blurred areas during fast movements of ULMB) without being forced to do without either one!
All screens emit varying amounts of blue light, which can be harmful to the eyes if exposed for long periods of time. To effectively address this issue, ASUS Ultra Low Blue Light technology effectively reduces these emissions through 5 different selectable levels. Flicker is also combated by the Flicker-Free system so that you can play for longer periods of time under the best conditions.
With its ergonomic design, the VG32VQ can be adjusted according to your preferences: the stand is adjustable over a 140 mm stroke, the tilt of the screen is adjustable over +20/5 degrees and the whole unit can be rotated easily over 62 degrees on each side.

Hello, I bought the screen on 20/06/2020 so I can move on from this product,
in full game the screen goes black for 3 seconds
When the screen is cold there is a lot of colour palette I have to wait 15 minutes
verdict not to be recommended given the price
In the "normal" position, the screen tilts a few degrees and is not exactly horizontal!
When turned on its side, the design makes the screen tilt and not stay horizontal, this could be described in the technical specifications which may suggest otherwise!
Fast and flawless delivery!
Here is a screen announced Gaming. On paper, 144Htz, HDR, great!
The colours are clean, not much to say about it.
The HDR is not compatible with most of the
with most latency reduction options (like ELMB), so be it.
But when you remove the HDR, which is not very useful for gaming, the image drools like crazy on fast movements. I tested the different options, I never saw such a drag effect in game, especially on grey to grey.
Another really curious effect, still without HDR, if you're a bit sensitive, as soon as you exceed 60htz, you get a change in rendering, a darker image and you can see a sort of RGB decomposition when you move your eyes (a bit like on old projectors)
Clearly, I could have got used to the screen's defaults. But the horrible grey to grey smear that leaves streaks when you move quickly... on a gaming screen, it's prohibitive. As soon as LDLC allows me, I ask for a return. Seriously, go the other way
New screen received in excellent quality. Packaging is great & delivery is on time. Ordered for PS4 pro and PS5 later the quality is unquestionable. The HDR works perfectly as well as all the other features presented on the article. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the price. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Excellent screen, nothing to say! Well packaged so no worries about dead pixels or anything else. The connectivity is provided which is nice (Display and HDMI)
The colours are excellent and there are many options to improve the image!
I'm taking off half a star because from time to time it will shut down for half a second when it's just started, I think it's to calibrate itself or something.
But otherwise it works very well and it is recognized "G-Sync compatible" on my 2080 RTX S!
I highly recommend it!!!
The screen is almost perfect, very well packaged, I put 9/10 because I am disappointed not the sound quality. I recommend with speakers or headphones

Bought a screen to watch TV with a Nvidia Sheild Tv Pro in 4k Hdr (connected with a monster cable) and to use as a screen for a ps4 pro (FF7 Remake).
After adjusting the screen mode ( normal and Hdr), very bright at the base, it's perfect.
No lags, perfect brightness, contrast, no dead pixels.
The packaging is of high quality, the base allows us to move as we wish (height, inclination).
I highly recommend it for the price/quality ratio.
For the price, this screen is correct: satisfactory finish, solid stand, sober, not too deep and well adjustable (height + inclination). It has almost no light leakage or dead pixels, but this is random depending on the model. Nice
black uniformity (also random), 144Hz that works without a fuss, superbly low input lag, well studied adjustable overdrive with 6 levels of adjustment. Only the maximum level generates discernible reverse ghosting.
Like all VA screens, however, the afterglow is terrible. You can expect a real response time of about 13 ms, which can rise to 35 ms in the darkest scenes. So there's a lot of smearing and ghosting to contend with, but it's no worse than any other VA screen I've used.
On the other hand, and this is where it gets tricky, the colours are off. I simply couldn't calibrate them properly. The screen remains
slightly yellowish, and with a large part of the presets the light grey disappears completely
disappears completely, merged with the white. There is obviously a design problem. I haven't encountered this problem for about fifteen years, when LCD panels were not as advanced as they are today.
Also, the BFI (called ELMB-sync on this model, which is, ASUS exclusive, usable at the same time as Freesync 2) is not usable for me. It generates a very high strobe crosstalk that makes the image unreadable.
Finally, I have an area of the screen that is more yellow than the rest. This is a major drawback.
In short, depending on your requirements with the quality of the image, it can be a very good choice for the price. For me, it's not possible, I'll ask for a trade-in.
