Well-made carpet
This is a well made mat, with a lot of stitches on the edges for a minimum of solidity. At least you have 5 years to practice knitting with grandma when you want to redo the seams that allow you to have the nice colours on the borders.
The foam is pleasantly firm, and could eventually replace my sofa, with a texture that allows mice to have maximum precision (remember to clean regularly with a cloth though)
It's firm enough to hold a coffee mug on it, without leaving a mark, if you think of putting your container outside the mat when empty, I'm not sure this mat was intended to be used as a saucer for too long.
It is the XXL size, I regret a little bit not to have taken the size below, because it is really very very big, to the point to have 1/4 of the product hanging outside the table. (an intermediate size would have been perfect)
However, this small inconvenience is negligible, when you know that you move your mouse by centimeters to aim far (those who like to aim right), and you avoid doing the aeroplane with the mouse when you suddenly have to turn around (who hasn't been fooled by a mouse pad that was too small and only did 180° instead of 360?)
