It has now been several months that I have been using this SSD and I have not yet seen the number of reallocated cells increase, the performance seems in line with the specifications.... in short, a good surprise over time!
After a few months of use, the product is as described, including the storage capacity (just barely under the 500 GO mark).
Works perfectly since its installation on a somewhat older laptop that benefits from switching from an HDD to an SSD; its new startup speed is measurable.
This drive (like probably most Crucial drives) is catastrophic! I bought it two years ago, and currently, after only 15 minutes after startup, the drive’s write and read speed collapses to 250 KO/s!!!! To give you an idea, it lags when opening a PDF document or opening a web page!
A real rip-off, avoid.
Ldlc Cormontreuil is a very professional team that provides good advice, a company you should not hesitate to choose
Good service from LDLC, an efficient supplier that I recommend. Fastest possible repair; 193 GB remaining out of 1.8 TB.
Very quick repair and friendly staff. Hard drive replaced, computer like new, just as fast. Fair repair cost. If I have the opportunity, I would recommend them.
It is a well-suited product, and the salesperson, Yann, gave me excellent advice and explained everything clearly.
While the smaller SSDs in the BX range deliver on their promises, the 2TB model is rubbish.
Crucial uses QLC NAND without DRAM cache... so once you've filled the SLC cache, the write speed plummets... You go from 500MB/s to... 22 or even 14...
I have a 500GB one that works very well... At first, I thought it was just a faulty drive, but after searching online and testing it in every way possible (with another PC and another SSD of the same model), it turns out that it's the 2TB model that's the problem. In short, this is a drive to avoid.
I gave it one star because you can't give it zero :o
I use it for weekly system backups. Perfect so far, with sufficient size and good responsiveness.
