Intended for small and medium sized rooms for broadcasting sound in the theatre or home cinema, the 100ICW5 speaker from Focal is designed for residential use. This coaxial loudspeaker incorporates an inverted aluminium tweeter and a Polyglass cone driver.

Intended for small and medium-sized rooms for stereo or home cinema sound diffusion, the 100ICW5speaker by Focal is dedicated to residential use. This coaxial loudspeaker integrates an adjustable aluminium inverted dome tweeter and a 13 cm Polyglass cone loudspeaker to offer very good acoustics, even in damp environments such as the bathroom. Wall or ceiling mounting allows for discreet integration thanks to a unibody chassis.

Perfect acousticsThe 100 ICW5 features a 3-position correction (-3dB, 0dB, +3dB) to equalise the treble according to the room acoustics, which improves the sound in any environment (e.g. reverberation on windows or tiles). Two speakers can be connected to a single amplifier. All 100 Series products can be used extensively in conjunction with conventional hi-fi systems, including Chorus 700 Series speakers, for discrete, high-quality home cinema installations. |

Easy and elegant installationInstallation is a key criterion. The robust mounting brackets and magnetically attached grilles reduce installation time to a minimum. The 100 Series products have a shallow mounting depth which makes installation much easier. The "tropicalisation" process of the Polyglass membrane makes it resistant for use in humid environments, such as bathrooms. |
