cabasse, as usual, is excellent! model chosen thanks to the previous reviews and also to the website www.lesnumeriques.com. i was looking for speakers where the highs and mids are highlighted. the bass is a little behind but is compensated by the amp. on the other hand, the wood is dark brown and not walnut coloured; the only drawback!
My Alison speakers from the 70's or 80's having given up the ghost due to my teenager's immoderate use, I noticed these speakers for their price and the excellent reviews on the internet. At 50% off the base price, I wondered if they were bacon or pigskin. At the first sound out of my Marantz PM 5004 amp I was dubious and then after a few hours, probably a need to break in, I became a very happy listener. I discover ultimate sounds, sound reliefs, clarinets magnificently rendered, bass much better than on my old speakers... in short, after having yelled at him, I finally thank my son for having screwed up my old speakers, but don't tell him too much!
These speakers do not look like much, they are compact and discreet. When you listen to them, you immediately notice the amplitude of the sound and the spatialization that fills the room with music. Surprising considering the size of the speakers. Bravo Bretons!
