Overview

Succumb to the acoustic charm of high-fidelity speakers

Remarkable for their sound performance and their refined design with impeccable finishes, the Prestige Facet 8B bookshelf speakers byElipson are a delight for audiophiles! Ideal for small spaces, they integrate numerous technological innovations and offer a rigorous design for easy integration into any interior. Neutral and fair, this speaker delivers a sound without coloration, faithful to the original recording. A feeling of softness and serenity emanates from each piece reproduced with mastery and without aggression. A champion in its category that will not fail to seduce you!

Listening comfort

The medium-sized Prestige Facet 8B features a 17 cm diameter bass-midrange driver with a central ogive that limits turbulence. A 25mm diameter soft dome tweeter delivers high frequencies with finesse and precision. The multi-faceted sculpted silicone surround around each driver reduces baffling and diffraction. This results in a more linear response curve anda smoother listening experience.

The high sensitivity of this speaker allows it to be used with any amplifier up to 85 watts per channel. Its dynamic performance also makes it an excellent choice as a surround speaker for a home cinema installation.

Beautiful from every angle

Special care has been taken with the speaker cabinet. The front panel is made of two dense, thick materials, stiffened by numerous internal reinforcements. The steep filtering uses audiophile components. As for the finish, it is not to be outdone with an excellent quality vinyl and a lacquered front.

At Elipson, the back is as important as the front. Thus, a high-end double terminal block, round, compatible with bi-wiring and bi-amplification, with silver-plated contacts, is present to maximise signal transmission. It also offers the possibility of connecting banana plugs.

It's a joy for my ears.

I just got out of a pair of DAVIS eva which are already very good. But then it is the level above the top ^^

I've been using them for a while now, but I'm not sure if they're good enough for me or not.
    Thank you LDLC

    Very good loudspeakers Library

The sound delivered by these speakers is magnificent.
They are connected to an ONKYO TX-NR 595 AV amplifier.
I use them in home cinema and in HI FI.
In Hi FI the sound is of very high quality, although they are far from being broken in.
The stereophonic image is excellent, for bookshelf speakers the bass is very present and the treble very precise.
    Perfect for jazz lovers.

    very satisfied

Product in line with my expectations for the price (390€ via promo), although the speakers are a bit flattering and soft (I come from the world of home-studio and am used to listening on very directional and surgically precise high-end monitors, another world). The lows are tense, the highs relatively bright (even too much), but there is a hollow in the midrange which makes the voices and certain instruments less detoured, less precise, and limits the impact of these elements (even after breaking in via break-in CDs and daily music for the last month).
However having bought a YAMAHA r-n803d amp at the same time, and discovering the world of hifi, it is possible that the amp has something to do with it. And once again for 390€ I am very happy with my purchase.
I'm very happy with my purchase, especially since the carrier was a bit brutal, the speakers arrived with a slight defect on the accessories, which LDLC's after-sales service (though in no way responsible) followed up with efficiency, reactivity and precision until a replacement accessory was sent free of charge: BRAVO to the LDLC support team!
