The ToughArmor MB411SKO-B is a fully metalized 2.5" SATA/SAS removable rack designed for use in any ODD/FF rack. The MB411SKO-B uses its all-metal construction to ensure maximum hard drive life and withstand the harshest environments. The removable EZ Slide Micro tray allows "hot swapping" for easy drive maintenance. It also features a key lock for added security.

With its ultra-lightweight and convenient design, the MB411SKO-B is a perfect storage device for systems with limited space but also for those requiring data storage such as OEM/ODM systems, embedded control systems, factory automation systems, rack-mounted computers, rack-mounted servers and IPCs.

Almost as thin as a 2.5" disc

The ToughArmor MB411SKO-B is designed to be extremely thin while maintaining its small 2.5" size, making it a complete backup space for all enterprise systems. Its small size makes the MB411SKO-B suitable for any system that has space constraints such as mobile computers and embedded systems.

It is also an excellent 2.5" removable rack for all OEM/ODM systems that have space limitations, such as building systems that can easily configure their storage needs with the MB411SKO-B, without unnecessarily wasting system space.

Designed for Slim ODD & Slim FDD

The MB411SKO-B is designed to support a slim ODD and FFD array. To make it work with a slim FDD rack, simply unscrew three screws from the metal ODD bracket, then remove the ODD bracket from the unit and it is ready for use.

With the MB411SKO-B, you can quickly add a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to any system that has a slim ODD or FDD bay. Or replace it with existing slim ODD/FFD devices and upgrade to a solid state 2.5" drive to significantly increase the power of your system.

Removable design

The EZ Slide Micro removable drawer design supports hot swapping and allows for hassle-free maintenance in case of a drive problem. With easy hard drive swapping, your mobilization time is greatly reduced which can be useful for time sensitive projects and applications. The drawers are designed to accommodate a 7-9.5mm high drive or SSD, creating a 2.5" hot-swap bay for all standard SATA/SAS.

When the drawer is not installed in the MB411SKO-B, the dust flap prevents dust from entering the unit. The ToughArmor metallized design is perfect for industrial services and industrial devices that may require a flammability rating as it already meets the flammability requirements.

Practical features

To make your hard drives even more useful, an LED is fitted to the front of the removable rack to provide information on the status of the drive at all times. Active Power Technology (APT ) enables power to be activated only when a hard drive is inserted into the enclosure.

For security, an "Eagle-Hook " locking system on the drawers protects your hard drives from being ejected when not in use. Finally, the ToughArmor MB411SKO-B supports 7pin SATA with locking latches so you'll never have to worry about unintentionally disconnecting cables from your removable rack. Once the cable is connected, it will snap into place and stay that way.
