The Netgear PLW1000 is perfect, I use it in the garage where there was no wifi, very practical it plugs directly into a socket ;) I highly recommend it to extend wifi in the house.
I'd already equipped a room with this WiFi repeater. I liked how easy it was to install and how operational it was. I opted for a new one to cover an adjoining building and was equally satisfied.
The only regret (perhaps) is that one or the other (ideally both) doesn't have a 2P+T socket on the front so you can plug in equipment. This does exist on some PLC models.
I didn't take the time to try and set them up: as soon as I plugged them in, they worked!
Perfect, and what's more, the flow seems to be there.
I was looking for a way to extend my wifi network in a very large old house with very thick walls and plasterboard insulation (so lots of rails)...
Everything works perfectly, I am very satisfied.
