With advanced HomePlug AV2 technology, the TL-WPA7517 KIT offers high-speed data transfer of up to 1 Gbps over your electrical circuit, with ranges of up to 300 meters. It is ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications such as online gaming or streaming of multiple HD / 4K videos and heavy file transfers.
With its Gigabit Ethernet port, the TL-WPA7517 KIT provides a reliable wired broadband connection for bandwidth-hungry devices such as game consoles, connected TVs etc. Multiple such devices can be connected by adding a switch. Two Ethernet cables are included in the box.
Very easy to use, just connect the Powerline to the router; plug the 2nd Powerline into a wall socket in another room and connect it to your device via Ethernet to access the Internet, and you're done!
With 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the TL-WPA7517 operates adual-band Wi-Fi network (300Mbps simultaneous on 2.4GHz and 433Mbps on 5GHz) with more bandwidth and less interference, maximising the performance of your powerline network.
Wi-Fi configuration is done at the touch of a button. The TL-WPA7517 instantly copies your network name and password from your router for easy setup.
For your convenience you can easily manage the Wi-Fi of the PLC via thetpPLC app from your smartphone (Android, iOS) or download the new tpPLC utility on PC to manage the PLC network.
The app allows you to view the power line speed in real time, take LED control (also controlled by the LED On/Off button), and view the Guest Network.

The wifi coverage is really impressive compared to what I'm used to, unfortunately the speed isn't as high as the theoretical speed provided by the vendor (but this is always the case with PLCs as it depends on the house/apartment network).
Works without a hitch
I haven't checked the speed but it does the job for what I do with it.
Easy installation with the TP link application
Set up with a NAS, I get a link of around 500 Mbps to my box one floor up. The Wifi sends me 200 Mbps/s throughout the room, the maximum speed of my internet connection. Not a single disconnection or crash after more than a year of constant use. Equipment made to last!
