After a good year of use, I noticed a drop in performance, which I think is due to programmed obsolescence ....
Indeed, with a recent electrical installation, with a real fiber and with these cpls, I manage to have 5 times less speed than with a wifi connection far and direct to my box ...
I'm not sure what to do about it, but I'm not sure what to do about it.
I had a bit of trouble finding the right configuration for me as there are two possible modes. In the end, the result is excellent, my speed at the other end of the house is 5 times faster than before (the livebox is a bit far).
Used to extend the wifi network: the PLC box connected to the box in ethernet and the PLC/Wifi box in another room. The setting of the wifi box to clone the existing network (SSID + Wifi key) gave me a bit of trouble (documentation not up to date). But I got there. I've been using it since then.
I wanted to evolve in terms of cpl (my old ones were about nine years old) and I went for this model which suited me perfectly.
What I think: these cpls are excellent - both ethernet and wifi.
I feel that I have much more power on ethernet than before; on wifi, I'm finally relieved not to have any more untimely disconnections (which happened frequently with my operator box).
So of course it costs, but it's worth it and now I can surf, download or watch streaming without any hitch.
The two modules were combined without difficulty.
Using PLC, it is now possible to propagate wifi through thick walls without any problems.
It remains to be seen how long this will last and over a longer distance.
I installed the 2 sockets in 3 minutes, watch in hand.
I first put the non-wifi plug next to my modem, then I put the wifi plug upstairs in my office, followed the little manual on the box of the wifi plug and everything worked right away!
The wifi signal is very good, the cable speed is also very good for me. I am at the maximum of my Internet connection. It's as if I was connected directly to the modem.
To benefit from the wifi function, the router's wps function must be activated. And when the box doesn't have it, it's a pain because you have to download a software and rely on a not always clear documentation.
Fortunately I was able to benefit from LDLC's TA, which is more efficient than Devolo's.
In the end I became ... an expert and the private network works very well in an old house, the Devolo 1200 wifi working in the end without problem by moving it from socket to socket.
Devolo excellent quality, works perfectly. The PLC runs through a sub-meter to my tenant's house, with whom I share the same network. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.

Living in a large house with very thick walls, I now have wifi in every room with very good speed. I was satisfied with my first purchase and have just made a second one. I've just bought a second one, but it was a bit more difficult to get it to work: the instructions were not clear enough. I'm very pleased with the quality of the material.
I already had a pair of Devolo 500 AV+ powerline units.
I needed WiFi at the other end of my flat.
So I took this pair "PLC 1200+" + "PLC 1200+WiFi ac".
I find it convenient to be able to switch off the wifi directly with the button on the front panel. The "devolo cockpit" interface is really nice, with the addition of Wi-Fi management that I did not know. Of course, all the PLCs can be seen with each other. I even tested successfully the addition of a 200MB/s "freeplug classic".
I didn't do any performance tests (e.g. to compare the 500Mb/s with the 1200Mb/s. I haven't noticed any slowness or disconnection in the few days I've had the 1200 pair, nor in the 3 1/2 years I've had the 500 pair.
It's quite expensive, but I recommend it. And as always, received in 3 days by LDLC, perfect.
