I bought this kit to change the one I already have (500Mbits) one lan two RJ45 and one triple RJ45. This one has only one RJ45 socket on one LAN and the other has 3 sockets, misleading information. I will buy another kit to have the required number of connections. Disappointed with my purchase.
I was very disappointed with the customer service and the double talk. I was very disappointed by the customer service and this double talk. I was sent a first email to ask why my parcel has not moved (payment confirmation) for 2 days.
The first response was that shipping to overseas is more complex.
A second email is sent after 4 days (working days), I am told that my order is divided into several packages.
After a call to customer service, I was told that it was a Velcro tape that was being sent (inter-depot).
5 days later (i.e. 10 days after the payment of my order), there are email exchanges telling me that it is the Google Chromecast that is being restocked!
The order finally leaves 12 days later, and I receive everything in one package.
I can understand that there is a delay, but that the customer service lies several times, it's shameful!
I just received these, I did the update and it works poorly (very poorly!!!), the speed is barely faster than my 500 Devolo and especially the connection cuts without stopping, it's shameful to put its devolo magic on the market. HONEST!!!
At the beginning I had some network outages where I had to manually reboot the PLC (from the management interface), but since the last update; no more problem. Devolo, unlike others, has corrected the problem which was not the case with my previous PLCs (Netgear and TPLink). So I'm quite satisfied with the stability. For the performance, I run at about 200mbps but the two sockets are quite far apart.
I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the service provided by the manufacturer.
