PWM compatibility and Low Noise Adapter
The NF-A9 92cm fan supplied with the NH-U9S is PWM compatible, enabling automatic speed control via the motherboard. What's more, for even quieter operation, the maximum rotation speed can be capped from 2000 to 1550 rpm by using the L.N.A. adapter.

Dual Mode compatibility (Dual Ventilation)
For users wishing to enhance cooling performance, the NH-U9L is supplied with an additional kit of clips for attaching an additional NF-A9 fan to the front finned battery. By using the Y-cable supplied with the NF-A9 PWM fan, it is possible to connect both fans to a single CPU fan connector.

Hello,
In terms of noise, it's acceptable, but in terms of cooling, it's borderline for my configuration. However, it's well positioned and doesn't interfere with the RAM sticks. It's easy to install.
For the CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF
Temperature under load: 70°C
Excellent fan. Very easy to install and, above all, quiet. As usual, impeccable delivery.
A very efficient radiator, because my fan runs at minimum most of the time (when the CPU is more or less at rest), which means that the CPU (AMD Ryzen 9700X) is sufficiently cooled. It adapts to several CPU supports (see description). It's big, but I think it could be bigger. On the other hand, I don't do overclocking, so I don't have an opinion on this subject.
Excellent performance! Exactly what you need!
-> Used to restore a PC that was switched on for the first time in 2011! (Win7 x64 Cpu AMD Phenom II X6 1055t) confirmed this afternoon perfectly stable at 36°c on Witcher 3 in medium! This processor was known to be very temperamental when the heat was on, so this Noctua is perfect for sensitive procos! And its dimensions are perfect for resteints.
BIG BEMOL, the adapter, precious adapter (Noctua AMB8) for socket AM3 was not in the box contrary to what is informed on their own site! But Noctua sent it to me, and it took a lot of patience, so I'm finally going to be able to clear my living room of the bulk of PC parts.
Next purchase a more powerful compatible Gpu to test in medium/high and other to see the maximum it can still handle without overclock (old graphics card gtx 650 deceased replaced by GT730 troubleshooting) but finally it revives.
-> It's a great buy for your new and old machines, its dimensions are really perfect when you're short of space in the case but beware they do NOT systematically send the adapters mentioned (nb I informed ldlc big up to them ^^).

Very good and more than sufficient fan heat sink for the Core i3 in a Mini Tower case for a Mini iTX motherboard.
The parts and screws are of very good quality and can be reused if needed.
