Aria 906: a high-end and refined acoustic
The Aria 906 bookshelf loudspeaker is a real little gem: refined high-end acoustics combined with a high perceived value thanks to the use of noble materials. This 2-way speaker allows you to appreciate all the qualities of the Flax membrane: neutrality, presence and refinement. Aria 906 is recommended for rooms from 15 m2 and a listening distance of about 2.5 m.
The rediscovery of linenFrench flax fibre is one of the best in the world, thanks to the particular climatic conditions in the regions of Flanders, Picardy and Normandy. Based on this observation and the multiple advantages of flax, Focal has developed a new technology: the "Flax" membrane.
Flax fibre, known since ancient times, has superlative mechanical characteristics, a very low elasticity of 1.5% close to carbon fibre and a stiffness of 60GPa close to Kevlar. |

The TNF tweeterFor Aria, Focal has made two major changes to its Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter. The suspension that links the support to its dome uses a shape memory material: Poron. This allows the distortion to be divided by three between 2000 and 3000Hz, a zone of very high sensitivity to the ear.
Moreover, in order to perfect the spatialization of the sound and to improve the very low directivity of the inverted dome, a wave guide has been developed by Focal. Top of the range! |
A home cinema made to measureThe Aria 900 range offers great sound stability and provides users with total sound immersion in three dimensions. The CC 900 centre channel is the centrepiece. It will bring precision and coherence between the visual image and the sound stage.
The contribution of the"Flax" sandwich membrane in terms of definition works wonders on the voices with intelligibility and relief. The waveguide on the TNF tweeter, combined with its new Poron suspension, also contributes to increased transparency of reproduction, especially in the critical frequency range for voices between 2000 and 3000 Hz. |
