Holy Moly!
Overview
Noctua is launching the PWMversion of itsNF-P12.There are tens of thousands of silent cooling enthusiasts who swear by the NF-P12. Its thunderous silence, outstanding performance and consistent, flawless quality have made the P12 a benchmark in quiet 120mm cooling. The NF-P12 PWM delivers outstanding pressure and high flow, and comes complete with a 12cm fan guard to make securing your case a breeze.

Nine-blade design for enhanced pressure
Specially designed for high pressure environments such as CPU racks, water-cooling radiators, or cases with narrow airflow grilles.
The Noctua-exclusive Vortex-Control Slots disperse the vortexes developing at the tip of the blade and spread the sound missions over a wider frequency range. This feature allows the NF-P12 PWM to generate a more pleasing sound to the human ear.

Exclusive PWM circuitry with SCD
Enabling full automatic PWM speed control, the NF-P12 PWM uses the newly developed exclusive NE-FDI PWM circuitry that incorporates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By promoting less abrupt torque pulses, SCD reduces switching noise, allowing the fan to remain quieter at low speeds.

SSO-Bearing
Combining the proven principle of hydrodynamic bearing with the addition of a supplementary magnet that enhances rotor axis stabilisation, Noctua's SSO-Bearing technology is proven to deliver extremely quiet operation. It stands for extremely quiet operation and outstanding long-term reliability.

Extremely low power consumption
The NF-P12 PWM consumes only 0.6W, 50 times less than other PWM fans on the market. Compared to a traditional fan (2W), the savings after 5 years of use will pay for half the price of the NF-P12.

Low Noise Adapter
The NF-P12 PWM comes with an L.N.A. adapter that allows the maximum speed to be reduced from 1300 to 900rpm. The L.N.A. adapter can be used to stabilise the fan speed at 900rpm or to limit the speed when used in PWM control.

The L.N.A. adapter can be used to reduce the fan speed to 900rpm.

What could be better than a Noctua fan?
That unique, instantly recognisable look? No, it doesn't matter.

    Quiet and efficient

Used to cool a home cinema amp that is starting to show its age, the connections are really complete, the rubber mountings are perfect to be able to put the fan on the top without hearing the slightest parasitic vibration.
It is very efficient and effective and inaudible in my use of active home cinema cooling.
