Thin 14mm design

Flow Channels
The impeller of the NF-A9x14 is equipped with flow ducts on the fan face. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency and reducing noise disturbance from vortexes.

AAO Frame
Noctua's AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration mounts and benefit from exclusive optimisations to push the limits of performance and silence.

Stepped Inlet Design
Noctua's Stepped Inlet design adds turbulence to the inlet flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces noise emissions, generates a more massive flow and increases suction power.

SSO2 Bearing

Exclusive PWM circuit with SCD
Allowing full automatic PWM speed control, favouring less abrupt torque pulses, the SCD eliminates switching noise, allowing the fan to be quieter at low speeds.

Low noise adapter
Supplied with an L.N.A. adapter that allows the maximum speed to be reduced from 2200 to 1700rpm. It can be used to stabilise the fan speed at 1700rpm or to limit the speed when using PWM control.

Many wiring options
While the main fan power cable is short(20cm), a 30cm cable is provided to solve any distance problems. Both cables are fully sheathed.

At last a 92x92x14mm fan that's slim, efficient and quiet.
I lost around 4°C in processor temperature (81°C instead of 85°C in intensive testing) by attaching it to the side panel of my PC case (Chieftec HO-12B-OP case / AMD Ryzen 5700G Cezanne processor / ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WI-FI II motherboard / Noctua NH-U9S radiator-fan / Noctua NF-A9 PWM fan at the back of the case).
bought to replace old noctua for processor, except that i had trouble engaging them because there is no space like the original ones, by deforming the metal part of verntirad, i was able to manage.
and...whoa much less noise, better cooling, I have 5°C less than before while they run almost 2x less.
really efficient this purchase !
Very quiet in normal use. Even at high speed the noise is very reasonable.
And the performance is very good.
