To replace a 1TB WD red HDD in a "tower PC" (in order to keep the old one, and recycle the PC for another user). Preparation of the disk using a SPYKER docking station (activation, partitioning, copying of files etc...) without worry.
I ordered a 2TB hard drive and received it on time and impeccably packaged. I'd definitely recommend it.
I bought this DD in a hurry after a Seagate Barracuda 2TO DD suddenly broke down.
LDLC turned out to be the cheapest 2TO Western Digital I could find on the Internet. (It's my second Seagate out of order, I didn't want it anymore and I was looking for a much more reliable WD).
It was delivered very quickly in 3 days instead of the 24 hour service I had paid for.
LDLC were very helpful and the advisor I spoke to on the phone was very straightforward and reimbursed me for the cost of the 24 hour delivery that had not been carried out by the transport company (Chronopos).
What's more, he confirmed that their LDLC shop in Avignon runs a data recovery service.

I copied some files on this 2Tb disk and 8 days later it became RAW and I can't use it anymore. I tried to format it, but windows refuses to format it.
I don't know why?
Not yet tested, I'm used to the Western Digital black series.
Hopefully the Bue series will be up to the task.
Used on a server that runs J7/H24 since 2013, this 'caviar blue' series of hard drives has never given me any problems.

Western Digital is for me the most reliable brand of hard drive. Faster than a toshiba with the same general specifications, and lasts 10x longer than the Seagate, in my experience. the top one is the W Black, but the Blue ones are very good too. used for MAO, DTP, Videos, backup.

I received the hard drive in a bubble envelope, not very serious from LDLC.
I had taken the time to call LDLC to confirm that the shipment was in a protective packaging, I was told that it was.
I was told yes. For the moment the hard drive is working, but I'll have to wait and see.
I have already had a bad experience on another site where the drive arrived out of order and broke.
I am currently hesitating to order another hard drive from LDLC.

Very good hard drive that worked straight away and also very good delivery service by LDLC, nothing more to say. I had tried to buy it via another site which was cheaper but the drive lasted 1 hour once plugged in and it was not recognised afterwards... I'm not sure if I'm going to pay more, but I might as well have a quality service and after sales service too, thanks LDLC.
