Silence (the fan) is golden (the price)
* Does its job in silence.
* Connections provided very well (extension cable...).
* I'm not sure how to use it, but it's a good idea to use it for a lot of things.

I've been swearing by Noctua fans for over 10 years now, and I'm never disappointed. This model weighs its weight, and is really imposing. The ram strips just barely fit. I put the small adapter (included) that makes it run slower, so you don't hear it at all. And it's more than enough to cool an AMD 5600X processor.
A good product that cools my AM4 processor very well.
But the price is not very competitive compared to the competition. LDLC offers a quality of service that is reflected in the final price.
The difference is incredible. I use it with a Ryzen 3600.
With the basic ventirad, I was running at 80-85° in games on BF5. Now I don't exceed 45° in the same conditions.
As far as noise is concerned, it is very quiet and the installation is easy. The thermal paste seems to be of good quality considering the performance.
The Noctua U-12S-SE is a good fridge.
With my Ryzen 3600 processor: 6 cores/12 threads, I am now at 25_26C° in basic multimedia tasks, TV, web browsing. (7° less than with the stock ventirad in idle and 15C° less under load)
In intensive use, I reach 61C° in heavy games, such as Odyssey, GTA V.
But I have to be objective, at the time I'm giving you my opinion, it's winter and it's only 20C° in the room but it's already very good.
After that, I'll have to see how the Noctua ventirad performs in summer and/or in the middle of a heat wave. I guess it will be a different story, but the case fans should keep the whole thing in an acceptable temperature range,
Otherwise, the bundle is complete, the prestige of the brand seems to be justified thanks to its performances and its accessories, including the NH T1 thermal paste and the Secure2 fastener and the anti-vibration elements that hold the fan.
Mounting is very easy and takes only a few minutes even in the case (if you have an opening behind the motherboard).
In short, I am satisfied with this purchase even if it is true that the fan is a bit expensive compared to its competitors, it seems to keep its promises.
I'm just waiting to see how it performs in the summer to give an even more objective opinion.
Let's just talk about the product, it cools the processor really well, in game with the AMD fan that came with the proco I was at almost 80° before the fans turned on full blast and lowered the temperature to 70°. I have now gained 10° less which is not negligible. However, there are 2 ways to mount it with the mount (mounts) given in the box: I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a different mount, but I'm sure it's a good idea to use a different mount, and I'm sure it's a good idea to use a different mount, and I'm sure it's a good idea to use a different mount. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea if you're not sure if you're going to be able to use it for a long time, or not. In short, apart from this small defect, EVERYTHING IS GOOD
Noctua, as always, has done an impeccable job. This fan with only one fan does as well as my old watercooling 240 (in basic and multimedia tasks), only in gaming of course it gains some degrees. The addition of a second fan once the downtime is over will be automatic
I am not objective with Nostua, as I have been a fan for a long time...
Here you have a magical product:
- Muffler
- Blow hard!
I use it to cool a Ryzen 2600x, I gained no less than 10°C on the desktop and I don't mean under load...
As for the packaging, it's always very clean from Noctua.
Thanks again LDLC
It's all in the description.
Mounted on a Ryzen 1600+, asus prime B350 plus motherboard.
Quiet and no worries with the RAM slots.
Does its job properly in terms of cooling.
I agree with all the users. This fan is perfect. Easy to install. Quiet. No problems with RAM slots (mounted on ASrock motherboards). Very good finish. And above all it does its job well.
Bought to put on a Ryzen 1600 overclocked in a P193 case from Antec.
I had to remove the 200mm fan in order to integrate this ventirad into the case.
For any installation without overclocking, I would recommend a low profile with this tower.
The processor temperature still dropped by an average of 25°C compared to the Wraith Stealth.
Noise gain.
Well worth the investment.
Easy installation, quiet, very efficient cooling, even with a single fan. The whole thing is of very good quality.
It's my first Noctua fan, and I'm very pleased!
I've always been used to mounting Noctua on my beasts.
This is the first time I'm mounting an AMD socket beast.
Finally reassured, because it's always so simple with Noctua: 4 plastic protections, 2 different types of support (depending on the chosen orientation). Always so easy!
Installed in a new configuration on an amd Ryzen 5 1600X in a Cooler Master 550 Silencio tower: problem-free installation (the tower is a big part of it...) thanks to the many different mounting parts.) It becomes clear very quickly that this radiator and its fan are built according to rather high quality criteria. In short, the whole thing is so far inaudible.
So we are dealing with Noctua...
This fan is a little bit imposing in height, but if you have a case with a flat profile (less than 20.5 cm wide), it could hit one of the sides of the case.
But it doesn't encroach at all on the memory slots of my cm in AM4/DDR4
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a new one, but it's a good idea to have a new one, because it's not a good idea to have a new one.
Mounted on a 1600X, it is relatively silent and like the other comments there are no worries with the memory strips.
There is a good bundle with accessories to hook up another fan just in case.
Quality has a price ;-)
Nothing to report, just remember to check that your motherboard has a rear reinforcement it does its weight
I'm not sure which way to mount it, side flow (side panel with holes) or towards the back of the case towards the exhaust fan
I have to change the fixing kit according to this choice
good quality thermal paste too much for 1 not enough for 2
It's a very large system, but it doesn't interfere with the ram bars; it's a very quiet fan and the cooling is great. Mounted on a ryzen 7 1700X I recommend it.
The fan blades are very, very fragile.
