Excellent

Burns all formats, CD, DVD, Blu-ray all in USB 3.0 connection. A little bit noisy during the burning process, but this is quickly forgotten in view of its burning power and writing speed. Not the best with an iMac

I use this burner with a pro station: iMac and FCP-X editing software. Very bad coordination between the burner firmware and FCP-X. Constant false manoeuvres. Simultaneous pop-up windows between which you can't choose. Ejecting the unburned BD-R is complicated, as the physical button on the burner is not operational in this case under MacOS, which is absurd. No access to the burner to adjust its settings. The ASUS service department contacted only answers banalities: "it's plug-and-play, don't worry about the rest". This burner is not PRO, and neither is the ASUS service department.
