    solid-looking BD player/writer

    The casing weighs a lot and the whole unit looks robust. Works well and is not too noisy. Immediately recognised by the PC (Windows 11). The software supplied is interesting.     It does what I wanted

    In addition to hard drives and flash memory, I like to have backups of my data on optical disks. So, after hesitating for a long time when my first burner started to get tired, I just got this one. On the one hand, it is very reliable, being able to read discs that I burned in 1998 and also more recent DVDs and Blu-Rays. On the other hand, it has just finished burning a 100GB BD without any problem. It takes time but not much space. I recommend it.
