Purchased to replace a broken jack port on a laptop. One more adapter to have in your bag, but works perfectly under Linux.
On one of the 2 I bought, "microphone not found" The other works correctly (on Windows 7). We'll see in time

Be careful because the USB sound cards are badly identified. I had to restart the installation with formatting.
Small sound card USB key, does its job well and is a good help. A bit expensive compared to what you can find on the net, hence one star less.
The product protrudes awkwardly when connected to the laptop. The dual jack is not usable with the most common 2-in-1 headphones/microphones. The card does not make the built-in speakers reusable. Finally, a poorly described product and a useless purchase.

The bass is very present, it's a pity that I have a slight white noise when no sound is played but it's not dramatic
Useful if you have a faulty jack and want to use headphones. Works under Linux. On first use I found the sound much too loud, I had to configure the output as digital and not analogue, since then no problem.
Hello, my brother is very happy to have acquired this little device. Used as a replacement for his Jack port which is starting to fail. It's small, reliable and well made. I recommend this product. I'm very pleased with this product.
Plugged into the USB port of my desktop PC (under Windows 10) the sound jack of the motherboard being defective) I connected to the Logitech Z323 speaker, same power same sound quality.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a USB cable or a 15cm extension cable to take only one port.

I'm not sure if it's a good product or not, but I'd recommend it if you don't want to invest in a PC with more than five speakers.
I've been using this sound card for two months now to use my Plantronics GameCom 388 headset on my PlayStation 4.
It does its job quite well as a PC headset adapter for the PlayStation 4.
The only negative I would have to mention about this sound card is that the USB plug is not quite the right width to fit into a USB port so you have to force it slightly to fit.
But once the sound card is plugged in there is no problem!
I would recommend this to anyone who is unsure of whether to use a wire to connect the Playstation 4 microphone and headphone jack or an external sound card.
The sound seems to be very good, but I'm not a specialist.
Very easy to use, you plug everything in and it works. No adjustment on the device, adjustment by the computer.
Two sockets, one for the headphones, the other for the microphone, not sure if the single headphone/mic jack works here. I haven't tried it. Good troubleshooting, small price to avoid expensive repairs. Thanks for the help.

Works perfectly well without doing anything under Debian 9 with Mate. Perfect for replacing the internal sound card on my 10 year old motherboard which has fallen into disrepair.
It seems to me however that the sound is weaker (I have to put it louder to get the same sound level).

Slight loss of quality on the microphone but saves my life as I only had one jack input on my Mac (complicated for a double jack headset -_-) and considering the price... more than satisfactory!
Good material, quick and easy installation: no need to adjust anything, the joys of Plugg'n'Play =).
The sound is clear and it helped me to deal with a laptop that didn't give any sound or take a microphone.
The only negative point I could find is the fragility of the object, the shell does not hold much: Don't worry, a piece of tape is more than enough to overcome this detail =).
It is worth its price for the functions requested, and its overall quality.
You plug in and the key is recognised directly without drivers.
Tested under Windows 8.1 and OS X Yosemite.
On the other hand on the direct connections of the motherboard takes 2 ports (costum with a 10cm USB cable/extension to take only one port).
Sound quality ok.
