I used this card for several months, but there was sometimes a faint but very present parasitic sound that ended up being tiring. I no longer have this problem with the same configuration and a different card, it was the card that was the cause (not the PC or the USB hub). This is a good performance for a first price, but don't hesitate to go upmarket for a more acceptable quality.

No need to install a driver. So much the better. The specification should say so. Works with headphones including microphone, and amplified speaker.

Purchased to replace a broken jack port on a laptop. One more adapter to have in your bag, but works perfectly under Linux.
