Does not work
I thought this adapter would allow me to connect headphones with a mini jack to a USB socket on the PC, but it doesn't work. So, rubbish.

Great order: clear, neat and precise. At home on time...
The product says "Sony Ps3" compatible but you must have a DEA in computer science (I'm only an engineer) to get it to work. There aren't a lot of settings to change but nothing does...
So I've got a product that's arrived but is useless.
I bought it to bypass the faulty card in my laptop.
Well, the quality is not very good. The sound gets saturated at low volume. I will have to find another product.
I bought a second one because the first one didn't work anymore after a while, and after a few months of use it also gave up the ghost. The connection is really fragile, so I don't recommend it, even if the price/performance ratio is not bad.
I have now switched to an Apple USB-C / jack adapter (compatible with Windows 10), which is a much better choice for me.
I had bought this card to compensate for the deficiency of the sound card of my computer which makes a lot of noise.
I have a USB microphone (bird UM-1) which works very well but is a bit cumbersome for travelling or a bit too sensitive for a noisy place).
I have plugged in the sound card, it works on the headphone side, is recognized by the system (linux ubuntu), but unfortunately, on the microphone side, I always end up with a hiss and not even a microphone capture.
