Superb little product from D-link, bought because my internet box didn't have enough rj45 ports.
Its advantages:
- It has 5 ports, each rated at 100Mb/s.
- Small and very discreet
- Lightweight
- Low electricity consumption
- Price
Disadvantages :
- Ports not powerful enough 1000Mb/s would be better
- And no, it doesn't have any others ;)
This space-saving switch is perfect for use behind a WiFi repeater with only one Ethernet output.
Doesn't take up much space but does the job ...between the freebox, the two TV boxes, the PC and the Nas ...A little light but a little piece of double-sided tape to stick it on and it's forgotten ...
Used to connect a smart TV and a PS to the wired network. Discreet and light, it does its job perfectly while being forgotten in the TV cabinet.
This product deserves the highest rating.
Very easy to use: plug the switch into the mains and connect it to your modem/router via one of the ethernet outputs. Then connect the device you want to one of the outputs of the switch. That's it...
No complicated settings, no messy configuration.
The icing on the cake: its more than affordable price!
Works very well for the month I bought it. It has the defect of its quality, namely that it is so small and light that it does not hold flat by itself once 3 network cables are plugged in. I have to find a way to fix it.
It's a bit smaller than the size of my hand, I plugged it into my 4G Box Bouygues (which only had an ethernet port) and everything worked without any problems.
I didn't feel any slowdown or anything.
The only thing is that as it is very light, the cables tend to pull it but it's really nothing.

Contrary to what is indicated on the product sheet: "5 Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Base-T", this product is not Gigabit Ethernet.
Only 100 Mbit/s max. This is good to know for those who have fibre for example. So I lowered the rating.
I connected this switch to the output of the PLC box to have two outputs to the decoder and the other to my TV.
The 3 Rj45 plugged in, the connection was done by itself and was very efficient! The box is smaller than a packet of cigarettes, so it's discreet while still having a visual on the connections thanks to the LEDs. At this price, you have to go for it! I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
I bought a switch to avoid the CPL plugs. I connected my box to the switch with a 5m ethernet cable, and connected my TV equipment to the switch (screen, TV box and console).
No installation to do, it works directly.

Small switch at low cost.
I needed one to connect my PC to the box, too far away. It's very small, fits everywhere, and has a more than reasonable price. As mentioned, it's plug and play, you plug it in and it's done.

It is extremely easy to set up: just connect it to the Ethernet network, then 3 rj45 sockets allow you to connect computers to the Ethernet network, like an "internet power strip".

This switch is very simple and fulfils its function perfectly. Note the need to power it via its supplied charger, which is larger than the switch itself, particularly miniature! Nothing to complain about.

Riquiqui, tiny little... Fits anywhere, under a desk, bedside table or behind a headboard.
Used to "split" single network positions in living rooms to connect multiroom speakers requiring low data rates. Perfect!
