A retro-style mechanical keyboard
The 8Bitdo Retro 87 Xbox Edition keyboard (model number QWERTY) is a wireless mechanical keyboard inspired by the first Xbox console. It is designed for PC users looking for a compact keyboard without a numeric keypad, combining a retro visual identity with modern connectivity features. Its 87-key format frees up space on the desk while retaining the essential keys. This model is equipped with Kailh Jellyfish X mechanical switches mounted on a hot-swappable PCB, allowing for solder-free switch replacement. It supports N-Key rollover and offers three connection modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless and wired USB. Programmable Dual Super Buttons are integrated for quick access to customised functions.
The keyboard is powered by a 4000 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, offering up to 300 hours of use depending on the connection mode. It features RGB backlighting with 8 modes and a dedicated control panel for managing volume, connections and system shortcuts, including quick access to the Windows Game Bar.
