The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W gaming display pushes back the boundaries of responsiveness and image quality. With its Dual Mode (QHD at 540 Hz or HD at 720 Hz) and a response time of 0.02 ms, it is aimed at gamers who demand the best at all times, whatever the game.
Performance and Dual Mode
This display features 'Dual-Mode', which allows you to switch between QHD (1440p) resolution at 540 Hz and HD (1080p equivalent) resolution at 720 Hz as required, offering maximum flexibility for competitive or immersive gaming.
Tandem OLED technology improves brightness (+15%), colour volume (+25%) and longevity (+60%) compared with previous generations of WOLED. At the same time, an ultra-short response time (0.02 ms GTG) and G-SYNC/FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility ensure optimum fluidity and no image tearing.
Superb colours
The TrueBlack Glossy panel offers a haze-free surface and reduces ambient reflections by 38% compared to previous versions, ensuring deep blacks. The monitor covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 gamut, displays 10-bit colours with a Delta E < 2, and is certified VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black for faithful, immersive reproduction.
To maximise durability, ASUS OLED Care Pro technology incorporates a Neo Proximity Sensor that detects user absence and switches to black image to minimise burn-in, as well as automatic cleaning and static image management functions.
Remarkable design
In terms of functionality, the PG27AQWP-W boasts state-of-the-art connectivity: DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) interface with full bandwidth of 80 Gbps and HDMI 2.1.
The chassis adopts a modern design combining a futuristic silver finish, a semi-transparent rear panel subtly exposing the internal components, and a 'hollow style' stand. I switched from a Benq XL11T 15 years ago to this screen and the result is incredible. I still don't understand all the weird HDR modes, settings and Windows manipulations to do, but I've tested it on PC, ps5 and switch 2, all connected to it, and the image is insane, not to mention the responsiveness. I can't wait to see the result when I change graphics card to increase fps on triple A, but the gulf between before and now is already immense.
