The size hasn't increased but the speed has doubled compared to the previous model, I'm impressed! Samsung NVME M2s are reliable and durable, just be aware that it will overheat under heavy load, so cool it down well.
Perfectly received SSD, easy to install.
I moved my previous SSD (which was only PCI EX 4) from a PCI EX 5 slot to a PCI EX 4 slot.
And I put the new one on the PCI EX 5 slot on which I reinstalled my games (DCS, WOW...).
The games launch much faster even though it was already fast!
RAS, very good product, fast and efficient, installation by LDLC perfect, all instructions were followed.
Top performance, almost 15,000 MB/s read speed, that's pushing it!
It does heat up a bit, but that's nothing to worry about, so don't forget to fit a radiator.
In short, it's 5/5.
A special mention for the Samsung Magician software, which allowed me to clone my old SSD very easily.
It's fast...but you get used to the speed... And you forget about the equipment, which is the best compliment you can pay it.
