Samsung's 4TB SSD 990 PRO takes your machine to the next level. This SSD boasts stratospheric speeds and extremely high endurance. The Samsung 990 PRO in M.2 2280 format is based on the PCI-E 4.0 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 technology. It uses Samsung V-NAND 3-bit MLC memory chips and 4GB of LPDDR4 cache memory.
The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. The 990 PRO pushes the PCIe 4.0 interface to its limits by doubling the data transfer rate of PCIe 3.0, while remaining backwards compatible with the latter.
The 990 PRO can achieve read speeds of 7450 MB/s and write speeds of 6900 MB/s (depending on the model).

Here's an SSD that gives you peace of mind when you're working. We love its speed and the quality of Samsung products.

The shipment by ldlc was fast and problem-free.
From my old configuration, I kept the asus geforce GTX 1650 graphics card, the case and the storage hard drives.
I had a little trouble at first getting my new configuration to boot up, but the problem was actually with the previous power supply. I appreciated ldlc's responsiveness and advice in finding the source of the problem (which was resolved by replacing the power supply unit).
I'm now completely satisfied with this new configuration, particularly for its silence and speed, for the use I make of it (office work and occasional 4K video editing).
Designed to replace a 500GB SAMSUNG SSD 970 PRO when migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on a standalone installation, this product is extremely responsive, although its capabilities are limited by the characteristics of the HP EliteBook 850 G5 PC (PCIe Gen 3x4). The 970 PRO now houses ACRONIS backups in an Icy Box. The lifespan and reliability of these SSDs played a big part in my choice.
Both the product and the delivery were satisfactory. Please note, however, that the very specific screw for fixing the NVME is not supplied.
This is a very solidly built high-end SSD: fast, efficient, with good cooling. If your budget allows, it's an excellent choice for a demanding video creation or gaming PC.
