The keyboard is excellent and I took advantage of a Ldlc offer to get it for over 200€ cheaper than on other sites:)
I'll let you read the keyboard test which is very good, the only downside is the Asus software...

The keyboard is excellent and I took advantage of a Ldlc offer to get it for over 200€ cheaper than on other sites:)
I'll let you read the keyboard test which is very good, the only downside is the Asus software...
Received as a gift, this keyboard is a monumental slap in the face. Its construction is perfect, with no gaps between the metal parts and the rest of the components. Typing is unrivalled comfort and the sound of the keys is a joy. There are so many settings to choose from (it's a shame Armoury crate isn't more stable and reliable). I don't know if I'd have bought it on its own, but it's definitely worth it.
It's clear that the price of the keyboard isn't for everyone, but if we look at the positive points, such as the possibility of changing the switch inside, as well as the complete equipment for repairing or changing the keyboard, plus the fact that the keyboard is fitted with superior parts, I can only say that the price is very affordable in the long term. Take a step back and ask yourself why it costs so much.
This keyboard is very well built, with a beautiful design and noble materials. The case is made entirely of metal, apart from a small plastic plate to let the waves through. Compared with a ROG Azoth keyboard (Azoth for short), the keys are lower and wider. Typing is very fluid and produces a much more pleasant sound than last year's Azoth.
The OLED screen displays a well-defined image with beautiful colours and provides a good deal of information.
Using the 'Polling Rate Booster' accessory increases the frequency response to 8000 Hz and significantly reduces battery life. I found almost no improvement in responsiveness when using this accessory. It's better to opt for 1000 Hz and get better battery life.
The Armoury Crate software lets you set up and configure the keyboard to your liking, and once you've done that, you can uninstall it completely, since everything, except for some information that requires Armoury Crate to be run in the background, is saved in the keyboard's memory.
Using this keyboard provides great sensory satisfaction. It comes with a heavy (the base is aluminium), wide and comfortable hand-rest.
The ABS keys may make some people cringe, but you'll probably change keyboards long before these keys deteriorate.
After just a few days' use of the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme, it's clear that this is a keyboard on a whole new level.
The typing quality is exceptional, combining precision and fluidity.
