The second iteration of the ASUS ROG Thor Platinum power supply benefits from improvements in cooling with ROG heat sinks twice the size of traditional ones and high-end components with low ESR capacitors that make it a high-performance yet quiet power supply. To keep pace with the latest developments in components, the ASUS ROG Thor Platinum II features a PCIe 5.0 connector to support graphics cards with a 16-pin 12VHPWR connector.
ASUS Aura Sync and LiveDash OLED interface
- ROG heat sinks cover the card's main components, cooling temperatures and reducing noise.
- A 135 mm fin fan with PWM control reduces noise and keeps temperatures under control.
- 0dB technology: To reduce noise, the PWM-controlled fan shuts down completely when the PSU is subjected to a load of 50% or less.
- Manufactured using low ESR capacitors and many other high-end components to meet 80 Plus Platinum certification.
- The OLED display monitors energy consumption in real time.
