TheiFi Audio GO Bar 's beautiful little alloy casing is durable. Inside, the sophisticated DAC and headphone amp circuitry will upgrade the core audio technology in all kinds of digital devices. Add headphones, powered speakers or a separate amp and speakers and you get what you've always wanted: bigger, bolder, more detailed sound.
Hi-Res Audio certified, the GO Bar supports PCM, DSD and MQA formats and has a 6.5mm jack output for connecting your headphones.
The DAC section of the GO Bar uses a powerful 16-core XMOS microcontroller to process the audio data received at the USB input. The iFi Audio team has programmed the XMOS firmware to optimise sound quality. It works in conjunction with the Cirrus Logic 32-bit DAC chipset.
The GO Bar has physical buttons for precise volume control. A column of coloured LEDs provides a handy guide to the format and sample rate of the digital audio being played, and whether XBass+ and/or XSpace are enabled.
At one end is an asynchronous USB-C port and at the other is a balanced 4.4mm output and a 3.5mm S-Balanced output. S-Balanced technology reduces crosstalk and noise by 50% with ordinary single-ended headphones.
