This cable is needed to power an RTX 4000 with the famous 12V pin!
I wasn't happy when I saw the red LED when the PC was switched off.
The cable supplied by NVidia comes with an explanation but you can see that it can turn brown lol
New cable plugged in, it looks good, the red LED no longer appears!
I highly recommend it.
if you combine these 3 elements: a top-of-the-range 4000 graphics card, a corsair power supply without pcie 5.0 type4 compatible and you don't like your cable to look like a monster in stranger things season 2.
Well, I wasn't too keen on the adapter that came with my graphics card and, as luck would have it, I'd bought a Corsair PSU for my system. So the choice of this cable was obvious; no adapter, direct cable to the PSU, good quality connectors that click into place, Corsair build quality. In short, I'm reassured. I'd recommend it.
The product is perfectly suited to its purpose. Easy to assemble, not too bulky.
It doesn't prevent my average ATX case from closing.
