ATEN 's VM5404HA is a 1080p HDMI matrix switcher model that provides an easy and affordable way to route one of 4 HDMI video sources to one of 4 HDMI displays. With video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz (4:4:4), the VM5404HA provides robust signal routing and fast digital video switching.Several methods are available to control the device, such as front panel buttons, RS-232 and Ethernet (Telnet/Web GUI) connections. In addition, the VM5404HA supports ATEN's Video Matrix Control application for displaying and monitoring device status.Signal management is made efficient through the front panel LCD display, providing users with a quick view of all port connections. The local HDMI output port provides real-time monitoring of multiple sources on a single display, exactly where the video matrix switcher is located.

For flexible configuration

As the ultimate video wall solution, the FPGA-based VM5404HA features ATEN's proprietary seamless switching technology, ensuring uninterrupted video streams, real-time monitoring and stable signal transmission. Built-in aspect ratio conversion automatically converts any input video stream to match the native resolution of the output display to provide the best possible video and image quality. To prevent screen breakage, the VM5404HA adopts FrameSync technology to synchronise the output frame rates of the aspect ratio conversion with the frame rates of the input signal, ensuring superb video walls without breakage.

For audio functionality, the video matrix switcher features audio extraction, allowing digital audio from any HDMI input to be assigned to the stereo output, providing increased installation flexibility. The VM5404HA is an ideal HDMI video routing solution for scenarios where customisable, real-time AV signal transport from multiple sources to one or more destinations is required, from control centres to server rooms to any type of video wall application.
