HDfury is proud to present the Vertex 2, the worthy successor to the award-winning HDfury Vertex. It's more than ever suited to audio-visual purists. It's an ingenious and powerful 4 x 2 Matrix/Splitter/Scaler for 4K HDR/DV 18Gbps/600MHz + Full HDMI audio output (HDMI/ARC/eARC extraction). On the hardware side, the Vertex 2 has 4 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI video outputs with scaling option and a dedicated 720p or 1080p HDMI full audio output. It also features a LAN controller, RS232 port, stereo L/R or Optical 5.1, IR RX, an IR sensor, an OLED screen and 4 buttons on the side for making changes in the device's system menu. The Vertex 2 offers unique and exclusive output management to accommodate Android TV and receiving devices. All inputs are capable of handling 4K and HDR/HLG/DV/LLDV/HDR10+ up to 18 Gbit/s for video. They support all audio formats available today. The HDMI TX0 and TX1 video outputs are also capable of 18 Gbit/s and all sound formats. Vertex 2 always operates in Matrix/Scaler mode, ensuring that your configuration remains optimised to the best of its ability.
On the software side, Vertex 2 gives you total control via the all-new HDfury built-in web server! You can use any web browser-based device, such as a computer or smartphone, to access, control and update Vertex 2 The process is as simple as visiting a web page.
The engineers at HDfury have gone further than anything they've ever created and have given the Vertex 2 a new and improved HDR management capability. HDfury engineers have also added new features never seen before, such as TMDS switching for all inputs, which allows sources such as ATV4K, X1X or Shield to be automatically switched in a way that no other switcher on the market can. In addition, the Vertex 2 can physically mute any output via a software trigger.
World's first eARC HDMI2.1: the Vertex 2 now supports ARC and eARC sound extraction from the TV for high bit rate up to Atmos over TrueHD transmitted to any AVR input via its HDMI audio output (ARC-Key functionality)!
