Discover the Teranex Mini Quad SDI to 12G-SDI with award-winning Teranex quality and support for SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60! This Teranex Mini features a continuous power supply, professional XLR and AES/EBU connections and an Ethernet port for remote control and PoE. Unique to the Quad SDI model, it allows equipment that requires four BNC cables to use just one 12G-SDI BNC cable to connect the latest matrix switchers, mixers and projectors. It also supports 3G-SDI Level A and B devices.
The Reinvention of the Mini Converter
This new Teranex Mini converter is easy to install in video systems and supports all types of equipment. The Teranex Mini is the ideal solution for broadcast installations as it can be rack mounted and the optional front panel display allows viewing of the video being converted. It can also be remotely controlled via Ethernet. It also features professional XLR connections to connect your unit to mixing consoles or other audio equipment!
Thanks to the Instant Lock function, the image is displayed without interruption on the screen because this function sends a continuous active HDMI signal, even when the SDI signal is disconnected. If an SDI input in the same format as the previous signal is reconnected, the signal is instantly synchronised! This means that you can connect a Teranex Mini Quad SDI to 12G-SDI to the output of the switcher grid to make virtually invisible switches.
Unlike conventional converters, the Teranex Mini can be fitted with a separately sold LCD display. The optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel allows the video fed to the converter to be viewed using this integrated LCD display.
12G-SDI technology for SD, HD and Ultra HD, amazingly fast!
Like other Teranex Mini converters , the Quad SDI to 12G-SDI features state-of-the-art 12G-SDI multi-rate technology, which is eight times faster than conventional HD-SDI. The multi-rate 12G-SDI interface automatically detects and switches between SD, HD and Ultra HD, so you can connect Teranex Mini to all your existing SD and HD equipment. The 12G-SDI supports high frame rate Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60 using a single BNC cable.
This Teranex Mini converter features professional-grade connectors, including professional XLR connections and high-speed BNC connectors that support the high bandwidth of 12G-SDI. It also includes a 90V-240V multivolt DC power supply and an IEC-compliant power connector compatible with standard cables. The integrated Ethernet port allows the converter to be remotely controlled and powered by the PoE switch.
Finally, the Teranex Mini Quad SDI to 12G-SDI includes a 33-point 3D scan tableto provide highly accurate colour conversion.
