The DJI RS 3 offers a flexible and efficient shooting experience for solo creators and independent teams. Plus, thanks to the quick-release dual mounts, camera installation is fast and convenient, with no need to rebalance the rig after changing batteries or memory cards.
Perfect for travel
With the DJI RS 3, you can start filming in no time. Simply press and hold the power button and the three axes will unlock and the pod will automatically deploy in seconds. Then press the power button once and the axes automatically lock to enter standby mode. This way, you can carry the DJI RS 3 without any difficulty.
With dual Bluetooth mode, the RS 3 supports wireless shutter control, saving time and energy every time you use it. Once the initial Bluetooth pairing is successful, you can control the taking of videos and photos by simply pressing the stabiliser's record button. Previously paired cameras automatically reconnect after the first use, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.
Professional stabilisation
Weighing only 1.3 kg (including the pod, battery grip and quick-release brackets), the DJI RS 3 can be held in one hand. On the other hand, its 3 kg load capacity is more than sufficient for consumer cameras.Thanks to a new generation RS stabilisation algorithm, the RS 3 offers significantly improved stability in any scenario. When you need even smoother results, activate the SuperSmooth mode. The RS 3 Pro then increases the motor torque to further improve stabilisation, resulting in stable footage even in fast-moving scenarios or when using lenses with a focal length equivalent to 100 mm. You can even toggle between Pan Tracking, Pan & Tilt and FPV modes with a switch on the side.
Finally, the DJI RS 3 features a 1.8" OLED display that provides intuitive and precise control and a reworked interface.
Powerful and convenient production
The DJI RS 3 supports the Ronin image transmitter to transmit a live 1080p/30ips HD stream directly to a mobile device. In addition, the maximum transmission distance is 200 meters and the end-to-end transmission latency is as low as 60 ms. It is also possible to attach a smartphone to the NATO port of the DJI RS 3 with the smartphone holder for wireless tracking. This means you can use your smartphone to control your rig remotely.
As for the new handle, it has a quick-release design that makes it easier to swap batteries and smaller to store. And with 12 hours of battery life and 18W fast charging, you can do continuous shots all day.
