High performance
Powered by the 20.4-megapixel BSI Live MOS stacked sensor, the OM-1 camera lets in more light while optimising low-light performance. The TruePic X image processor ensures high start-up and write speed, superior autofocus and fast bursts. Meanwhile, 5-axis stabilisation ensures you get the best shots possible.
Autofocus has 1053 points and redesigned phase detection, contrast detection and face detection for improved efficiency.
Shoot like a pro
Shooting in 4K allows you to shoot movies with exceptional accuracy and intensity, which can be displayed on the largest screens. The OM-1 can also shoot in Full HD at up to 240p, which looks great on any screen. You can also shoot high-speed video in a variety of formats, including H.264 and H.265.
Slow things down and capture the ultimate in slow motion video. 240 frames per second in Full HD is a feat in itself. With the new TruePic X processor, the OM-1 can now record the snap of a bat at a baseball game, slow down a chameleon's tongue and even capture the flight of a hummingbird.
Weather-sealing IP53 design
If you're shooting and it suddenly starts raining heavily, or if you're working in a desert and a strong wind is blowing sand everywhere, or if you're shooting snowboarding and the temperature is below zero. The OM-1 will follow you anywhere, it's capable of anything. You don't even need a protective cover. A sophisticated sealing system prevents the weather from getting into the camera, so you can work to the best of your ability without having to worry about your camera.
