The hybrid in expert mode
Designed for professionals, the E-M1X hybrid camera features a 20.4-megapixel Live MOS sensor and dualTruePic VIII processors for superior performance. Take high-resolution shots at up to 50 megapixels handheld and 80 megapixels with a tripod by combining 8 or 16 images. Live ND mode provides long-exposure-like results in bright light without the need for a filter.
This model offers fast, efficient and effective focusing for sharp shots every time. There are 121 crosshairs with phase/contrast detection, Intelligent Subject Detection autofocus, Face and Eye Detection autofocus and customisable autofocus levels.
Capture every moment
Capture moving subjects with ease with continuous shooting at up to 15 frames per second. And with Silent Burst, you can shoot at 60 fps.
And to support your quest for the ultimate shot, the E-M1X features 5-axis gyro stabilisation, providing optimal conditions with up to 7.5 levels of exposure compensation with compatible lenses.

You'll be able to fully express your filmmaking talent with films in C4K (4096 x 2160) 24p and 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) 30p with the possibility of connecting an external microphone thanks to the dedicated socket. The OM-Log400 mode will be perfectly suited for post-production and editing with colour gradients. The 3-inch touch screen and swivel display will assist you in perfect framing!
This Olympus hybrid can also shoot at high speed up to 120 fps in Full HD. You'll also find a 2,360,000-dot electronic viewfinder delivering vivid colours, high contrast and 1.65x magnification.
