Excellent computer, received quickly, works very well.
I am satisfied with the product, as always with LDLC ;)
First of all, it was impossible to connect the scanner: I spent hours on line with Microsoft and with the manufacturer of the multifunction printer. The "obvious solution" given by LDLC's technical service doesn't work at all. It's very, very disabling.
Then, no sound: same efforts, downloads, updates, nothing, silence. It's very, very disabling.
In short, I won't be using LDLC again and I won't be recommending it, perhaps to people I dislike.
The PC is sold with a BIOS that hasn't been updated, which means that it's already deprived of a good chunk of the performance it's supposed to achieve, and on top of that it's sold with a charger that causes even worse performance, with problems of power cuts when the PC is used on demanding games. I've had to contact LDLC twice, the first time I was able to solve the problem myself, the second time I had to send the PC back because of the battery problem, and after """"""""tests"""""""" they concluded that the PC was working perfectly well when it wasn't. The fact that they sent it back to me is a real shame. The fact that they sent it back to me with a suitable charger this time fixed all the problems, which meant I couldn't get a refund. As a result, I sold the PC at a Cash Express and bought a new laptop, this time from MSI.
A word of advice: stay away from LDLC PCs, they don't know what they're doing.
I bought this PC to do office work and some video.
Windows 11 Pro (64bits) installed without any problem.
The ventilation is sometimes noisy but it never lasts very long.
I upgraded the ram to be quiet for a few years (Kingston FURY Impact 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20).
The LDLC delivery took a bit longer than usual but that is due to the assembly time.
I'm a happy owner of the Saturn T55, nice presentation in its box, the backlit keyboard is superb, the touch and typing is pleasant, the screen is of good quality and we feel very well the 144htz, a beautiful machine and of good design. It's a good PC for occasional games but for big players it's better to go for a more powerful Saturn like RTX3070 or more.
This laptop is powerful and fast. As powerful and fast as a desktop PC, but this comes at the cost of poor battery life. You can't have everything! (I was kind of expecting it so it's ok, but such a low battery life is not normal).
The autonomy is really low. The battery loses 1% every 3 minutes without using the PC.
A return to LDLC did not change anything. I was told that it was normal.
